Director's Message
The new year provides an opportunity to reflect on the many blessing we have. This year we can be particularly thankful. March 23rd of 2012, marks the anniversary of 125 years of Catholic education in Prince Albert. We are so fortunate to have publically funded Catholic education in our province. We will celebrate the anniversary of the proclamation of the Prince Albert Roman Catholic School Division #6.
It is amazing to think that our school division began in a log home 125 years ago. It was a time when the province was part of the Northwest Territories. Pioneers were determined to create a life where their families could prosper and grow. They were firm in their belief of educating their children in a faith based environment and forged a path for many others to follow. These pioneers understood the value of Learning for Life through Catholic Education !
In our 125th year, let us recognize that we are fortunate to educate our children on holy ground and that we are truly blessed with this grace from God!
